At present,psychology with growing importance attached to it,is developing in rapid pace and broad areas,with many categories.And psychology in playing an instrument is a branch of music psychology. Performance psychology,a special function of human brain,is the subjective reflection of the reality of objective music in our mind.With growing awareness of importance of psychology in Erhu performance, the research in this area has becoming more and more fruitful.While,this paper,on memory,attention,imagination and emotion,etc,reveals the inherent laws of this art,proving that the learning process not only involves the practice of skills,but also the psychological change in the course of playing,that is,the coordination activities of psychological elements.The paper,with methods of documents quotation,investigation and analysis,inquires into the study of psychological regulation and control in Erhu performance.Foreword introduction in this paper,gives an illustration of psychological profile of the performance,fruits and deficiencies of domestic research,as well as author's approach to the study and ideas.The body is divided into three parts:part 1—an overview of the meaning,content and importance of the research on Erhu performance psychology;part 2—an illustration of memory control and will control in the practice;part3—the elaboration of psychological regulation in the course of playing,in the aspects of pre-performance nervousness,music perception,the control of attention,emotion and imagination,etc.This text aims at help of self-control enhance of Erhu learner and performer.
