Textual Research On Words And Expressions Of "Jiahelimintianjiabie" (wooden Slips Excavated In Zoumalou Area In 1990's)

Jiahelimintianjiabie is wooden slips excavated in Zoumalou area in 1990's which includes about 300,000 words. Since it was excavated in scientific and systematic way, it is of great value. Based on the whole investigation of Jiahelimintianjiabie, this thesis has a total research on its words and expressions. At the same time, it also has the special textual research on some unknown words and expressions.This thesis contains three chapters and appendix as follows:1. In the first chapter, the excavation, interpretation and research status of Jiahelimintianjiabie and the value of this thesis are mainly introduced. The measures practiced in this thesis are also mentioned in this chapter.2. The second chapter is the main body of the thesis. It is composed of 1674 nouns, 16 units, 16 numerals, 1 pronoun, 17 verbs, 1 adjective, 7 adverbial words, 1 preposition and 1 conjunction. With the thoroughly research of the examples, all of the meanings are concluded. Under each item of words, the meanings come first. And then the demonstration is showed which citing documents. Finally, the examples where the words and expressions are used are listed.3. The third chapter is the general situation of words in Jiahelimintianjiabie and several discussions.The appendix is the index. However, owing to limited time and my capability, there are still some words and expressions waiting for being studied. Therefore, the appendix also contains unknown words and expressions as well as the words and expressions with single example.This thesis has 3 characteristics:First of all, new language materials are adopted. With scientific and systematic excavation, the text of Jiahelimintianjiabie is valuable. The thesis is based on rechecking of the text and the reference of the research over the past decade. It guarantees that the thesis has first-hand research materials. Secondly, comprehensive content is possessed. With the basis of check and research on the text of Jiahelimintianjiabie, the words and expressions have been investigated and studied. The meanings are summarized from all examples showed in Jiahelimintianjiabie. Special research is conducted to unknown ones. Last, proper methods are practiced. Much attention is paid to self-prove of the materials as well as the compare between the examples in Jiahelimintianjiabie and in the contemporary books. At the same time, the source of meanings are also traced. Furthermore, the database techniques are applied in the thesis which guarantees the validity of the statistics and searching.
