Research Of Mongolian Adults' Acculturation, Life Satisfaction And Their Relationship

The achievement of acculturation is not only related with the happiness and mental health of private person, but also related with the society's stabilization , development and the harmonious relationship between human being and zoology. This study is a section study of indigenous peoples'acculturation and life satisfaction in Inner Mongolia, and attempt to discover the actuality of Mongolian adults'acculturation and life satisfaction.The thesis studies Mongolian adults'acculturation and life satisfaction through literature method, questionnaire, interviewing and field works. Questionnaires were adopted questionnaire MAAS and WHOQOL-brief. 475valid questionnaire obtained. Data analyzed by SPSS16.0. Result reveals that:1. Majority of Mongolian adults adopt the strategies of integration and separation.2. In the field of language using, culture and history, technology and entertainment, gender, age and education level made the difference notably. Males have more positive opinion than females to both ethnic culture and dominant culture. Early adulthood is positive than older one. In the field of using language, interaction of age and education levels are notably as same in the field of culture and history. In the field of interpersonal communication, there are no differences with all variance. In four fields of acculturation, it reveals notably difference by difference of background culture.3. Mongolian adults'life satisfaction showed no differences in marriage station and age. But in the field of psychology, females'life satisfaction is lower than males'. Education levels made the notably difference in the field of environment, high educated people are low satisfied with environment. But double-factor variance analysis showed main effect of area is notable and education status'is not notable. In four field of life satisfaction, it also showed notable differences by difference of background culture.4. Mongolian adults who adopted different acculturation strategies have no notably difference of life satisfaction, but there is the tendency that peoples adopted marginalization strategy has high life satisfaction.
