Toward The Image: The Charming Of Literature Is Forever

Post-modern culture is the end of Western post-industrial society. It criticizes traditional values and culture in the way of suspecting spirit. The post-modern culture advocates the thoughts of no center, no subject, no distance, uncertainty, fragmentation and irrational thought. The main performance is the lack of the main, the distance and rationality. Post-modern pictorial turn makes the traditional language-based culture shaken. Meanwhile, the situation of its literature was popular, commercialized and image. It's so popular that Miller is worried that the "end of literature" is approaching quietly. Literature is studying humen being, no matter what subject and object. It highlights the importance of "person". Although the context of post-modern literary subjectivity is digested, the characteristics of literary language, and the art are the main destination. By exploring the main literary and aesthetic experience, this article illustrates that the charming of literary isforever in society of the image.Specifically, the thesis is divided into three chapters:Prevalent Image and "the end of literature" theory are the context of the post-modern, so the first chapter 1 summarizes the characteristics of post-modern culture, and then analyses the characteristics of literary.Chapter2 talks about literature and images. It focuses on literature and images, in addition to the conspiracy of them, they have own advantages and disadvantages.Chapter3 discusses alienation in the aesthetic subject. First, analysis of the "author's death" and "The Death of the reader" on the literature are caused by the crisis. Followed from analysis of literature on specific aspects, the aesthetic subject has changed a lot, such as the differences of the subject accomplishment, the change of paradigm and cognitive disorder. There is no doubt that the alienation of the aesthetic subject makes literature stay in marginalized status.In conclusion, we retrospectives Hegel, Danto, Heidegger and other relevant literature .At the end of this discussion, we know that as an organic life ,literature has development, and ending, but the end part of it is unreasonable, and its end means begining. Therefore, in the times of the image, literature will not be end, and its' charming is forever! Literary aesthetic subject would not become a "vagrant", literature is the spiritual home and poetic dwelling place.
