A Explain On Aesthetic Thoughts Of Rousseau

Rousseau was an outstanding representative in the 18th century French Enlightenment, the well-known thinker of civilians, the father of the Romantic movement. He was not in the strict significance aesthetics theoretician, but his thought was rich in aesthetic thoughts. The Enlightenment was a great transformation times in human history, aesthetic thoughts were also having the deep transformation during the times. Rousseau proposed the aesthetic idea-antagonism between nature and civilization. It was the French Enlightenment aesthetic ideas of inheritance, but was also critical of this trend of thoughts. On this basis it had enriched and perfected aesthetic connotations of the Enlightenment. And it had significant and the profound influence to the development of Western modern times aesthetics. This article attempted to Rousseau's life times and the prevailing aesthetic trend of thoughts as the background, previous researches based on people and then read the text, from the perspective of the history of Western aesthetics to grasp and analysis of Rousseau's aesthetic thoughts in the French Enlightenment times important significance and its impact on future generations in order to further revealed the value of aesthetic thoughts of Lousseau.The body of this article consists of four parts besides the foreword and concluding remarks. The foreword part stated that the current research situation of the Rousseau's aesthetic thoughts as well as the purpose and value of this study at home and abroad. In the first chapter ,I will introduce Rousseau's life and thought and the thought formed by personal factors and the background of the times, and then revealed the relationship between Rousseau's aesthetic thoughts ,which shows the opposite of nature and civilization , and the Enlingtenment aesthetic ideas.The second chapter is elaboration which carries on to social aesthetic thought of Rousseau. In this chapter, I will first simply introduce the feudal society condition in the 18th century in France, then point out in Rousseau's ideal the freedom, the equal new society was more progressive than the feudal dictatorship society, a more reasonable society, facilitates the main dependence strength which this society formed was the bourgeoisie by the free equality the new moral outlook which turned over to for the aim. This kind of new moral outlook promoted society's development progress, was the ultimate good social beautiful manifestation. The third chapter is elaboration which carries on to personality aesthetic thought of Rousseau. I will show the 18th century French's personality spirit as the background to show Rousseau's alone personality charm which was the pursue sincere and the good beautiful personality. The fourth chapter is elaboration which carries on to aesthetic education thought of Rousseau. In this chapter, I will compare Rousseau's naturalism education to the feudal education from the educational connotations, content, methods, principles and objectives of these areas. I will explain the naturalism education that Rousseau advocated overall is aesthetic education permeated with the spirit of aesthetics. The concluding remarks is a summary of Rousseau's aesthetic thoughts. By summing up the contemporary values and limitations of Rousseau's aesthetic thoughts, I hope to provide contemporary people with a positive reference.
