Discuss The Sense Art In The Cinematic Performance

In the study for performance, the important influence made by the feelings of the actors is commonly ignored by people, instead, they attach great importance to the action or behaviors of the actors.Performance in the films or on the stage usually is regarded as action art by mistake, which places a huge part in the study by academic circles at present. However, there is not so much attention paid to the great position of the actors'feelings in their performance.This thesis aims to prove that performance in films is the art of feelings. It is achieved by trying to expose the process of the roles created the actors, which in essence is the process of personality perceived and self-finding. As well, by the analysis the differences and similarities between performance in films and on the stage. Besides, this thesis has a deep exploration of the ways to realize the feeling art.The research on movie acting is a popular topic, although it is hard to confirm that how many papers and works have been published on it, I am still convinced that the research on the ways to realize the feeling art deserve more time and energy. At present, there are not so many scholars who study on acting art in the perspective of feelings, so less research is done on the ways to realize the feeling art. Even involved occasionally, the research is done on analysis of every aspect of the actors'feeling on the surface, not deep and systematic. This thesis gives a full range of three-dimensional study on many aspects, such as the place which feeling held in psychology, and the change of personality perceived, and on the whole analyzes feeling art in movie acting essentially. This thesis includes four parts, which concentrate on the importance of feeling in the process of making movies, as well, the ways to realize art feeling in performance. In the first part it gives an explanation of the concepts and denotation of feeling; in the second part it explores the position and influence which feeling holds in psychology with some theories of psychology, In the third part, there is an analysis of the progressive process of feeling and the ways to realize art feeling. In the fourth part, it focuses on seeking the same points between feeling art and action art, analyzing the importance of feeling, meanwhile, trying to find out the certain connection between the two kinds of art.The conclusions made in this thesis are"all the acting art which oriented in shaping images has a inseparable connection with feeling,"and"film acting is the art of feeling", which is made by the research on the feeling creation from the actors.
