| Stefan Zweig, the well-known writer, portrays numerous women images delicately and writes a series universally appreciated "women novels" with his rarely kindness and tenderness for women, his affection for women description, his penetrating comprehension for women spirit. However, the author considers that although Zweig's respect and sympathy for women is obvious to all, there is still the thought of Pallocentrism unconsciously concealing in his novels. That is, Zweig hasn't shaken off traditional restriction, holds traditional thought of household women, and his respect and sympathy for women is just limited to the surface. Therefore, the thesis stars with women's perspective, puts the feminist reading strategy-"read as a woman"-to use, and searches and analyzes the thought of Pallocentrism concealing in Zweig's novels with the method of carefully reading and four critical points-themes, women images, details and narrative voice. Hope to offer new thought to study Zweig's novels. |
