Chang 'e rushes to the moon is one of Chinese ancient myths,spreading widely in the folk,but the surviving material on its historical development mainly exsits in each kind of ancient record."Guizang" says:"Chang'e takes the elixir from the Queen of the West and rushes to the moon"."Huai Nan Zi" records:"Yi requested the elixir from the Queen of the West,Chang'e steals,takes and rushes to the moon, Yi was disappointed for it.".Gao You's explanation to it:"Chang'e,Yi's wife;Yi got the medicine and didn't take it,Chang'e robbed and resulted in the immortal".Wen Yiduo,with 11 pieces of evidence in "Chu elegies ",proved that what in the moon is a toad,not a rabbit.Zhangheng also records that Chang'e flew to the moon and became a toad at last and says:"Chang'e,Yi's wife,she steals and takes the exlir,then rushes to the moon.Before that,she diviened to Youhuang and got the reply:"It's lucky.The younger sister will head west alone,not being startled during the flying,in the end,everything will go smoothly".Then Chang'e became a toad in the moon". At the same time,the paper gives the doubt,eg:Once the twelve moons in the sky,how about the disappearance ofothers?...These should be further researched.
