Because of the various aspects of culture have affected the characteristics of each other, so dose the traditional Chinese calligraphy. Zen for the impact of the extent to which there is not only from the Buddhist theory to consider, but it should be from the monks at the time of the trace in their calligraphy to explore. And should explore action of calligraphy of the people who lived in Song dynasty and before. And will at that time with the Song Dynasty and the Song Dynasty ago monks and literati for comparison, on the whole can be seen on Zen's influence on traditional calligraphy.This article will focus on research carried out by monks in the Song Dynasty calligraphy on practical activities, from related ancient literature, Forest of Stone Tablets in Xi'an, the ancient and the script collected by modern publication.Sort out these materials and analyse them according to the theory of tradition calligraphy.After analysing,we will draw a conclusion that the impact of Zen in traditional calligraphy is not the main factor that determine the orientation of a calligraphy,but afford calligraphy a kind of inspiration just in that time when the heritage of traditional calligraphy suffer from damage.This thesis will describe the relationship between the calligraphy and the Zen. |
