The Comparison Of Jewelry Form In The Main Localities

This thesis introduces the concept of geopolitics into the analysis of modern jewelry form of three main localities including North America, Europe and Japan which have tremendous impact on modern jewelry design. The thesis conclude the comparison results by analysis of a large number of examples, especially on jewelries'shape, color, inspiration elements and craftsmanship. This article has some new angles in analysis of modern jewelry design like"WABI SABI","MONO-HA"and so on.In the thesis I refine some main factors of the comparison in jewelry form and ultimately give my own proposals for Chinese jewelry form, such as the influence of commercialism of North America's jewelry, patterns of European jewelry as well as the Japan's"SILHAT"design attitude.
