Based on the lyric poem text haizi for research object, the thesis aims to interpret life entailment of haizi's poetry from the pespective of time.Paper is divided into three chapterChapterâ… :it mainly discusses metaphor relationship between life and time. Metaphor, as we know, is not only a conceptive mark, but also the reveal of secrets of life and univerise illusion, and the discovery of a poet for existence of life. Specifically, it would be divided into three aspects to relate. First, time is metaphor of life. Hai Zi just exactly adopts this metaphor of rhetoric to establish a double vision of time and life, through this metaphor, poetry state more profound than the real essence of life. Second, by constructing the relationship between main spirit and time, we witnessed the pursuit of the poet for the infinity and the eternity. The Poet constructed two relationships of subject and time for us, one is mutual cohesive and harmonious relations between two sides, the other is nutual opposed relations of them. The former is by cutting out the character of variation of life, the poet expected to get the stability of happiness and then to arrive the eternity; the latter, the poet pursue eternity through opposition against time to acqure some king of subjective transcendence and freedom. Third, the experience of circles of life was reflected by the metaphor of time. The opposion against time is eventually not compared with the alternation of days and nights. The cycle of days and nights, in the poet's eyes, is nothing but the similarity of the circle of life. Therefore, in chapter two, I exposit the similarity between time and life in Haizi's poems by analyzing his discriptions of spring and autumn, May and August, dawn and dusk. The sprout of desire expressed in his spring poems secretly corresponded with the sprout of plants in real world, while the chill theme of autum poems potentially correlated with the declining vigor of nature in autumns. Similarly, the disappoint theme of May, the turbid life of August, the surpassing theme of dawn and the depressed theme of dusk are all significant discoveries of time by the poet. In the third part of this essay, I choose a relatively particular image in Haizi's poems---a place far away. A place far away can be treated as a defination of time,a revery of him about the future. Haizi had tried to espress his long for spiritual sustenance, and his regret for the unability of avoiding some reality factors through the imagination of a place far away. Haizi's "place" equals "nothing", and "nothing"represents the hollowness of life. While for Mr. Lu Xun, this far away "place" is where the significant meaning lies and what people live for. Haizi responded a hollow life with desparity, coldness and pain. From this point of view, we find that the far away "place"is not only an metaphor of one possible survival state of human, but also a restructure of an idealself of the poet.Haizi is a poet with a desperate heart and a tragedic view of life. Actually, the inseparable and complementary three parts together reflect Haizi's philosophy of life through the concept of time, and point directly to Haizi's painful and hollow life consciousness.
