A Study On Meticulous Painting Transformation During 17 Years After The Founding Of The PRC

Meticulous Painting progressed steadily and slowly during the past one thousand years, but after the founding of the PRC, it suddenly transformed to a different way. Why and how did this happen? This thesis focus on the theory research of the transformation, the technical research of the transformation and the appearance of Meticulous Painting after the transformation.Meticulous Painting transformation started from the period of Republic of China and finished during the first 17 years after the founding of the PRC, it combined Chinese Painting tradition and Realism, since then reproducing modern people by Chinese Painting is no more a problem.
