Career decision-making is one of the most important decisions in one's all life. It is also an important issue in the Decision studying field. Career decision-making can appear nearly in life each stage. As society's unceasing development, the people have more opportunities to choose jobs. But actually it becomes more complex.This study used the context method to research the effect of the value and size of choice on regert.Study 1 established and revised the materials. These materials have divided into 5 types, used for two experiments. This study also confirmed the materials effectively.Studies two is about t the effect of the value and size of choice on regert, divided into two experiments. The first experiment used 2×2 experimental design, to confirme the effect of the value and size of choice and their interaction on regert. The second experiment had further studied when increased the value of the rejected options, the regret degree will be changed.The conclusions are as follows: 1. In the preparation research, it confirmed that had one kind of occupation attribute (in this research is"enterprise development prospect") will be more important than others significantly, named"important attribute". 2. Simultaneously it had also confirmed that the experiment materials could survey the regret under each experiment scene effectively. And the experiment materials are useful for this research. 3. The size of choice has significant effect on regert. 4. The value of choice also has significant effect on regert. 5. Their interaction is not significant. The size of choice did not have the significantly difference in"important value"level. This means increases the options does not affect decision-making, regret will not increase. 6. When the rejected options'value increased, the regret will be changed too. 7.?It also confirmed that the regret degree lower when chosen the important attribute than not .
