A Thematic Study On The "Mother Love" Of Chinese Art Songs In New Period

The exploration of art song's sanicization endows it with new characters which become the"new traditions"of our country's new musical culture. This thesis takes Chinese art songs in new period (1978-present time) as the object of study. With the"Mother Love"as breakthrough point, it would probe into the Chinese and western art songs'difference on the narrative style and thematic sublimation, and initially discloses the psychological causes for the difference from the perspective of traditional culture.The introduction gives a review to the related theory studies of Chinese art songs and defines some key terms in the present paper.The main text consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the Chinese new-period art songs'unique and different narrative style. The second part discusses the ontological meaning of"Mother Love"in Chinese art songs and its sublimation, or, the specific embodiment in musical practice. The third chapter tries to explain the above difference from the viewpoint of psychology.
