Sheng Keyi,Who is a vexed and controversial female writer, was born in a common citizen family in the early 70s of last century in Yiyang in Hunan .She has gone in for the creation of the novel since 2002. Comparing to the other female writers during the same period, although she is a newer writer, has become an existence not to be ignored in the contemporary literature world. Her works include long novels of"Water and Milk","Girl from the North",'Fire and Residence",'No love, out of danger","Moral Praise", short story collection of"Who invaded and occupied me", novella collection of "heating Movement" and so on. Some works have been published overseas in English, German, and Japanese. Sheng Keyi is a new emerging writer in the beginning of the twenty-first century, whose keen artistic sense and distinctive female consciousness has opened a women's writing page. She has become one of the most potential writers for her unique cold, sharp writing style and added a bright landscape to contemporary literature world.With the rapid development of women's literature, feminist literary criticism and research also shows prosperity. Sheng Keyi and her works have been given great attention since their emergency. At present , most of scholars focus on individual novel of Sheng Keyi in terms of micro-analysis, a small number of experts and scholars only focus on the novels in macro way. Viewing the study, I has found that current academic research on Sheng Keyi's novels has certain limitations: the interpretation of only single article or the more favored few scattered works; or just from a feminist view reflecting the female consciousness, describing the fate of women in details, but not from the broader perspective of human nature; or affected by human choice, even one-sided point of view, not systematic; mentioned little the narrative feature of the novel. These comments in general have a clear imbalance, often containing only eyes on the one or a few works that impressed criticism, being too superficial and subjective, although evaluating the novel's value and impact vividly.Studying Sheng's novels can help us see certain trends of the female literature in the new century and inheritance relationship with women's novels in the last century; evaluating Sheng's novel comprehensively and systematically will guide and promote development of contemporary Chinese literature. This dissertation attempts to study from a macro view more systematically and deeper for breaking through former study limitations, sums up and uses the predecessor's study results for reference ,and at the same time makes a research on Sheng Keyi's novels from a new point of view.This thesis is divided into three chapters: multi-angle analysis of human nature, the voice from the bottom women and personal narrative feature. Through the analysis of three chapters, it sets a value on Sheng's novels and meaning in the history of contemporary literature.The first chapter is to expound how the novels analyze human nature which can be explored from three parts. The first part is the perspective of the humane weakness through the marital relation. Sheng's novels are full of marriage without love. Marriage is a sham, the married people get ready to betray for the desire at any time. Through the narrating of these failing marriages, Sheng Keyi has opened the barrier between people and the frailty, selfish, darkness, hypocrisy, and other human weakness under the sentimental veil of the family. The second section explores the plight of the complexity of human nature through the plight of love. The affective relations between the sexes in Sheng Keyi's novels are all fallen into such a predicament: the love between men and women is only based on desire and interest, the love also becomes void when the desire and the interest disappear. The complexity of human nature is more natural and more fully exposed by the writing of the plight of this kind of love. The third section shows the variability of human nature through the relationship between the same-sex. Sheng Keyi has revealed the complex human nature by the description of the somber strife and lively goodwill, understanding between the same-sex each other. Sheng Keyi is good at beginning with these angles, such as, the marriage and love relationships between the sexes, and the same-sex relationships (the performance of more the relationships between the same-sex perform more women than men in her works), penetrating into the various hidden corners of human nature and fully demonstrating the multiple combinations in the deep world of human nature to the reader in order to showing the complex and profound humanity.The second chapter analyses how to write the voice from the bottom women in Sheng Keyi's novels. This chapter is also divided into three sessions to start dissertating: Section one is faced up to the body consciousness of the female. Sheng Keyi has demonstrated female desire, boldly publicized women's own choices for love and respect for desires, and bared the true inner desires of the women in a fierce and undisguised state. Section two is the writing of the plight of women in social life. Sheng Keyi has regarded the underlying female as her major concern of the humanitarian feminism; more of her novels have reflected the women's survival predicament and the problems faced in the current society. In a more intimate level, they have highlighted the extremely difficult survival scene of the underlying female in the time of current materialism in order to causing the world's attention and fully showing her solicitude for the bottom women. Section three shows the tragic history of women emotion. Sheng Keyi has described in her story about love that no matter how hard women industriously sought for the freedom and pursued to the love, finally exiled in love and lost themselves in the physical and sexual entanglement, the stories have all become the scenes of the tragedy. Sheng Keyi has revealed the emotional difficulties that the women must face with in generally through the description of the tragic history of the female emotion. She doesn't followed the crowd, is always based on her tenacious consciousness and unique aesthetic performance of the female. Female life is always her ultimate concern. She has described the personal lives of women experience, survival dilemma and emotional confusion, hoped to arouse people to concern about the survival of women, called the society to create a true and equal social space between men and women to the female.The third chapter discusses the personal narrative feature. This chapter is divided into three sections. Part one is dural narrative perspective. Although most of the objects of concern are women in Sheng Keyi's novels, Sheng Keyi has introduced dual narrative perspective to tell stories. Neither observe the women the men, nor is a male view on women, but the combination of two perspectives, stands outside the sexes, looks at the men and women in the diverse and complex human world. Part two is network narrative structure. Sheng Keyi has indulged into the construction of the relations between characters in her writing. The stories have been multi-angle analysis of human nature with network-like structure, revealed the hidden psychological activity of the characters, showed a rich and complex social reality. Part three is personal narrative language. The section discusses in three aspects of specific topics. Number one is to boldly use foul language and dialects. Number two is flexibly to use the method of synesthesia. Number three is to subtly use metaphor. The personalizing language of the Sheng Keyi's novels has not only gone beyond the traditional language norms and language of contemporary mainstream models, but also gone beyond the ordinary language approach and the trend of popular languages, which has not only gone beyond but also integrated into them. All of these constitute the novel's narrative feature, and form a unique aesthetic meaning and artistic charm.
