Christian charity was an important event in Modern China. For a long time , the church charities in modern times were easy to be associated with the imperialist policies of aggression cultural link.Many people thought that foreign missionaries'name of "charity" signs, actually acted as a "colonial detective and the anesthetic." In recent two to three decades, with the strengthening of contacts between Chinese and Western cultural exchanges and dialogues increasing,many historians have began to become more dialectical perspective from different Christian churches and missionaries problems. On the one hand ,a more in-depth aggressive has been exposed and criticized;on the other hand, christian charity activities in the areas of research have sprung up in large amount, and most confirmed the objective of these activities on the development of modern Chinese society from facilitating role,and so is the christian charity in Guangxi.Christianity was introduced to Guangxi in late Ming Dynasty.In mordern times along with the Western powers invading China, Christianity would be the growing influence of Guangxi.This area became an important area of Christian missionary activities in China.In this paper, drawing on the basis of previous studies, through a broad collection of local archives, lesson plans ,historical materials, newspapers, magazines, etc, to be charitable to the church in modern Guangxi.I want to analyse them from multi-angle and multi-level systems, and try to give them an objective and impartial evaluation.Full-text is divided into seven sections.Part I is the preamble, including the topics of significance, academic history, research methods and the problem that need explaining.Part II to Part VI is the main part of the paper. Part II reviews the development of the christianity in modern Guangxi and summarizes its characteristics. Part III analyzes the reason founded church charitable: to seek the church's foothold and development in Guangxi;at the same time, embody the concept of Christian charity. Part IV discusses the state of development of Christian Church in Modern Guangxi charity, a simple analysis of the start-up means of the church charity, organizers and funding.Part V systemically investigates the church charities, mainly including medical and health services, nursing Salesian and famine relief activities in three categories. Medical and health undertakings mainly include hospitals , clinics and leprosy hospitals.Salesians include the Christian-run orphanages, orphanages, homes for the aged and blind schools, deaf schools, special education institutions. Famine relief activities mainly include bingzai and various disaster relief in flood and drought. Part VI analyzes their social impact.Firstly, it promoted the development of Christian missionary work in Guangxi; secondly, it alleviated the suffering of the people's disease, and promoted the development of medical and health undertakings in Guangxi; thirdly ,it promoted the improvement of social customs; finally, to a certain extent, it eased the pressure on Guangxi's charity and played a role in social stability.Part VII is the conclusion.Through the study of the above-mentioned Church charities in modern Guangxi , we can carry out a more comprehensive and objective assessment. Subjectively, the missionaries hoped to reach the aims "Christian Occupation of China " and " Christian Occupation of Guangxi" from charities founding, we can't over-estimate them; objectively, to a certain extent, Christianity charities contributed to the modern social development in Guangxi, dnd had some positive impact.
