The contemporary Chinese society is undergoing a transformation. All kinds of social contradictions, unstable factors, and the spiritual crisis makes it a historical period. In the modern society there are high expectations, there is a fast-paced strong pressure, under the background of the various social problems which are more and more prominent. There is more material wealth than in the past, and spiritual values that became increasingly hollow, and people's happiness and economic development is not directly proportional. Many people chase for materials at a point where reason, conscience, love, people's minds are open to selfishness and indifference. The diaphragm deviates from the real happiness.Concerning the contemporary art of the spiritual topics, the expression of the modern spirit of the confusion of the inevitable choice is in line with human needs. Contemporary art is boring in the sense that many works are very hot and sell to attract a lot of attention. There is a lack of deep spiritual meaning of the human spirit that the role of art should be and bring the adequate attention. Based on the author's thinking and creative practice, we have analyzed with seven domestic and international contemporary sculptors works, Such as Tian Shixin, Sun Wei, Xiang Jing, Li Zhen, Ron Mueck, Marc Quinn, Anish Kapoor works, And offers his views and understanding on contemporary art, Through research, the authors recognize that concerned about the spiritual nature is respect about human nature, We should be more profound thinking of modern human society, self precipitation and reflection, It promote art appreciator realize inner needs which is the responsibility of contemporary artists.
