The Chinese Language Recursion And TCFL

TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) is an undertaking which bears upon the country and nation. Form the time when China began large-scale and systematic TEFL in 1950s to now, the undertaking of TCFL has had a history of 50 years. As a bound to enhance the relationship between countries, TCFL makes more and more people know China, know the Chinese people and the Chinese and Chinese culture. And it play a positive role in modernization pangram. Compared with other academic subjects of the second language teaching like English, German, French, TCFL is far behind them in theory research and subject-building. Many years'TCFL practice shows that we should review and organize our teaching and the results of researches, adopt various new theory, new methods, and build our theory in practice to chase the advanced level of the second language teaching of the world. At the same time, we should change the research tendency of focusing on the research of"teach"but ignoring the research of"learn". We should apply scientific methods to research and investigate in the aspect of the rule of language acquisition, to explore the specific the rule of the Chinese language and the specific rule of learning Chinese for a foreigner, and to explore the way of improving traditional teaching mode, and then to improve teaching effect and efficiency.The origin meaning of recursion is"run back","recall"etc., it means to know the unknown from the known by"return". Recursion shows the following four basic characters: 1, the essence of return; 2, recursion in structure; 3, formation in process; 4, infinity of results. Its essence is to make the unknown the known, through"return". With the understanding of complicated question becoming deeper and deeper, recursion becomes an important base of methodology for people to solve complicated question. This paper begins with the principles and characters of recursion, then discusses the attributes of recursion of Chinese pronunciation, Chinese characters, lexis, grammar, figures of speeches, and takes these attributes into TCFL, to contribute to the promotion of TCFL subject construction in the new period.
