| People's own understanding of learning, which refer to as beliefs about learning, include their beliefs regarding cognition, affect, and behavioral processes. Such beliefs concern purposes, processes, personal regard, affects, and social perceptions. Recently, there are more and more developmental psychologists have focused on this field, these beliefs underlie people's motivation for learning and influence children's actual learning and achievement. Because learning beliefs are not innate but develop through the process of socialization together with individuals'own active construction, the beliefs are profoundly inflenced by cultural value systems.The researches about 3-6 years old children's learning beliefs are not optimistic in China,especially, there are few study refer to factors influenced it. In this research, we analysed three aspects of learning belief, these are children's conceptions of the main form for learning, children's cognitions of book, and children's conceptions for institution education. We adopted literature research method, questionnaire method, and as such, reviewed the concept definition, and influencing factors. We made thorough analysis of the situations of 3-6 years old children's learning beliefs and the related influencing factors. The conclusion drawn by this research are as follows:Firstly, for 3-6 years old children, their conceptions of the main form for learning, cognitions of book, and conceptions for institution education are all have age differences.Secondly, mothers'educational levels play more completely role in development of children'learning beliefs than fathers'.Mothers'educational levels influence children's conceptions of the main form for learning, cognitions of book, and conceptions for institution education; Fathers'educational levels influence children's conceptions of the main form for learning, and conceptions for institution education.Thirdly, parents'occupations influence different aspects of children's learning belief. Fathers'occupations influence children's conceptions for institution education; Mothers'occupations children's conceptions of the main form for learning.Fourthly, parents'attitudes to book can influence children's conceptions of the main form for learning. Finally, based on this research and results of survey, we give some advices about how to promote children's learning beliefs forming more reasonable from the angles of kowning the development of children's learning beliefs and strengthening family chulture shaping. |
