In recent years, Emotional Intelligence (EI) was recognized and improved by researchers gradually. EI became an important factor in the success of the individual in practice, the enterprises no longer just concerned about their high level of education and high IQ; At the same time, higher turnover rate of graduates aroused people's attention to emotional intelligence in the context of organizational socialization. Especially in the rapidly growing service industries today, how to improve the level of service become the most important issue of the organization, which had a great impact on human resource management.Recently, most research much focused on the introduction of emotional intelligence, in-school students rather than the staff. So this study concentrate on emotional intelligence make Chinese service industry employees as the object In this study, using theoretical and empirical research, combining qualitative and quantitative approach, conduct exploratory research to explore the structure of emotional intelligence of employees and the relationship between job performance, organizational commitment. So as to provide a reliable basis for staff recruitment and training of service enterprises.This study has two parts:first, the author proposes a basic theoretical model and hypothesis through literature review of EI respectively surveys graduates and new staffs using questionnaire related. The second stage is qualitative research, using a structured questionnaire to interview employees in order to understand what is emotional intelligence of saff and other related issues, and as a basis for designing the questionnaire; The third stage is the quantitative research.on the basis of second stage interviews, combined with the West emotional intelligence research and job performance, job satisfaction, organizational commitment theories and the actual situation in the supermarket, design the staff emotional intelligence evaluation questionnaire.Finally, make some suggestion on recruitment, training according the reality, hoping to rise some concern from practitioners on the relevant issues and provide a basis for further research and development of the emotional intelligence theory.
