At present,most teachers in the secondary vocational schools mainly focus on the knowledge imparting, while few on how to memorize the knowledge faster and efficiently. Give a man a fish;you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime. By the method of literature study and empirical study, the feasibility of memory improvement was discussed in this paper, aiming to find an effective method to improve the memory of secondary vocational school students. Firstly, based on the memory theory, the possibility of improving memory ability was discussed by the method of literature study. Secondly, the empirical study was applied to prove the feasibility of memory ability improvement, in which the effect of 4 methods to improve the memory was studied. The 4 methods includes memory methods studying approach, associative memory approach, course materials training approach, and circumference ratio memory training approach. The results showed that the memory can be improved. With the stake memory method, the memory effect decreased while increasing the memory materials amount, when stakes were limited. The association speed and quality is the key to improve the memory ability of secondary vocational school students.
