An Analysis Of The Slip Of The Tongue In Speech Communication

Slip of the tongue is an important part of natural speech. Research on the slip of the tongue is not only of important psychological value, but also has important linguistic value. This article takes in the slip of the tongue in speech communication as study object, uses methods of surveys and analysis, induction and deduction,combined with the collection of instances, from the view of speech generating,the relationship of language and thought, the characteristics of language units, analyzed the causes of the slips of the tongue, and discussed the practical significance, hoping to serve new ideas for the linguistic research and language users to communicate.The first chapter set the concept,find the difference among the slip of the tongue, speech errors,dialects and immature speech ,describes the source of the language materials used in this study and research status at home and abroad for Slips.The second chapter takes examples to classified the slips of the tongue,from views of the relationship among internal language components,language elements and language backgroundThe third chapter focuses on speech generating,the relationship between language and thought, language unit features three perspectives exploring the causes of the slips of the tongue .The fourth chapter discussed the practical significance of the slip of the tongue ,including proving linguistic theories, finding ways to reduce slips and the positive effects of slips。The last chapter is the conclusion, summarizes the main contents and the results of the text, and pointes out the shortcomings of this study.
