Research On The Disylabic Words In Novel Called Jinghuayuan

With the vocabulary in the novel called Jinghuyuan written by Liruzhen as research object, the thesis segments the disyllabic words out, countsits total number and the frequency of appearance of a single disyllabic word, Analyzes it's combining modes and summarizes its general characteristics. Generalizing to say, the combined modes of the disyllabic words of novel called Jinghuyuan are multifarious, such as Lianhe mode, Zhuwei mode, Dongbin mode, Pianzheng mode, Buchong mode, etc. Lianhe mode and Pianzheng mode are the main word-building methods among them.The research indicates that the vocabulary in the novel written by Liruzhen is rich; the combining modes of the disyllabic words are various, especially those of the disyllabic words in Buchong mode; the inherent and new compound words in Fujia mode are also abundant.Inaddition, referring to The Great Dictionary of Chinese, the thesis supplements and corrects the inadequacy of the dictionary on basis of the research.
