| It's already more than one hundred years which the Hong Kong film has become "Oriental Hollywood" and occupied a seat on the pattern of the status of the world's films from the end of nineteen century which the film screenings has appeared. The Hong Kong film has formed it unique model at industrial, audio-visual, type, after years of exploration and development which also makes the Hong Kong film as the "Hong Kong style" be sought and paid attention by much Asian countries, regions and the whole world. The Hong Kong film has changed by the impact of itself and external factors as the nineties of last century a series of events occurred, which change and development process has nature difference with the changes of the Hong Kong films in their own. In this paper, the 1997 return of Hong Kong, the financial crisis, the Asian film industry be impact of Hollywood films and other major events to be the starting point, a brief summary of 100 years of the Hong Kong film history, objective, and focused presentation of the performance of Hong Kong films during the boom period, and then obtained the transformation of Hong Kong film after 1997 by analysis, while comparing this transformation with the development of Hong Kong films of multiple transitions in longitudinal course and comparing it with the Hong Kong demonstrated characteristics in horizontal course, in order to distinguish the nature difference of transformation of Hong Kong films after 1997,at last it predicts the future impact of the Hong Kong development film by this transformation. |
