From import to localization,Chinese situation comedy learn widely from others' strong points in the process of spreading gradually. Among them, Ying Da and Shang Jing's representative works, a situation comedy of the two flags of china, led the development of Chinese situation comedy.This dissertation focused on a comparative analysis of Ying Da and Shang Jing's works,and the main parts divided into three chapters.The first chapter described the overview of development in China's situation comedy. Situation comedy derived from United States abroad has a long history of development. In several decades of development, conventional television and variety shows integrated into situation comedy and has become an important type of television programs.The situation comedy introduced into china by Ying Da in 1993. From"I Love My Home", this new TV programs take root and grow in china. During this period, the sitcom experienced four steps: germination, birth, exploration and boom.The second chapter analyzes the commonness between the Ying Da and Shang Jing's situation comedy. Situation comedy as exotic, Ying Da and Shang Jing's works, based on innovation and localization, are combined with the characteristics of Chinese culture and the Chinese audience's aesthetic in their original model, in order to better meet the needs of the Chinese audience. Localization and transforming of the works are mainly embodied in the reform of foreign sitcoms, inherited the traditional Chinese art and culture, use of dialect and intertextuality, interpretation of narrative text.Chapter three explored the difference between Ying Da and Shang Jing's situation comedy. Although the situation comedy of the narrative model is simple and easy identified, most of the sitcom, including the works of Ying Da and Shang Jing, also follow this basic narrative rules. Analysis of the two works will be found a large difference between them. These differences affect their generation of sitcom and formation of their comic style. The differences mainly showed two aspects: the form of theme and artistic style.The first is the theme of difference. This mainly reflected two aspects: First, subject selection: Ying Da's family themes and Shang Jing's diverse subject. The praise of Ying Da's situation comedy received from the audience was related to the ordinary happy family. Ying Da's situation comedies are adopted family as the core to launch a series of comic plot. The successful works directed by Ying Da were the family situation comedy, and the plot close to the ordinary people's feelings. Shang Jing focused on the different subjects and paid attention to a broader perspective of social space, reflected the social changes brought about by rapid development. Therefore, compared Ying's family theme, Shang'works reflected various themes, including the military themes, urban themes, as well as healthy subjects. Shang's sitcom met the psychological needs of a new generation of people, so attracted amount of young people and fashion people.Second, the difference is the form of art. The author analyzed the difference between the Ying's language and Shang's plot. Ying's sitcom is a family sitcom, which relies on the application of language to make happiness, figure characterization, express thought, and also is a bridge of communication between family members. Even without looking at the image screen, the audience almost able to understand the story and appreciate the Ying's humor and funny. Compare to Ying Da, Shang Jing focused on the comic plot. He followed the original sitcom dialect, comic dialogues, and Shang also added more new tools to create a distinctively characteristics drama, comedy element, which more close to modern life. Finally is a brief analysis of the formation of difference.
