Teacher Talk is the main and direct means for a teacher to implement the teaching in the class, while questioning is an important component in Teacher Talk in the class. The teacher proposes questions in the class first, then the students answer the questions, and the teacher gives his/her response. Therefore, as the bondage of interacting bwtween teacher and student, questioning can attract students to participate in the activities of the class, thus proposing the student to think and communicate with target language.Bases upon the records of nine teachers' conversation class in grade 102 of the BNU(the level of it is between the elementary and the middle level) and the comprehensive analysis of the the words dictated from the listenning materials, this essay analyzes the questioning og the class from the following five aspects: 1.the allocation of the display questions and the referential questions.2.the length of the questions from the teacher.3.the waiting-time for questions.4.the allocation form of the teachers'questions.5.the teachers'feedback to the answer of the students. The result shows that in the period 102, the display questions are more than referential ones. The using situation of these two are also different in different teaching periods in the class. The length of the questions are less than 15 characters, some even reach 40-50 characters. As to the time for waiting, the average time is less than 3 seconds. After the questions, most teachers employ the meaning of roll call, and some of them are used to only one means in most part of the class. If the students give the right answer, all the teachers can give an affirmative reaction by emplying the repetitive praises. If the students give the wrong answer, most teachers can help the students to make self-improving rather than give their own answers.
