The title of the thesis is "research to the stratums of the construction of music works", which based on the theory of aesthetics of phenomenology by Roman lngarden, and theoretically question Ingarden's emphasis on "the music-work is single-stratum in its structure. According to the groundwork of study to the multi-stratum structure theory of literal works, this thesis eventually formed the theory of the stratum-construction. Moreover, the thesis also demonstrates the validity of the theory after analyzing and interpreting with the music works as displayed.Accordingly, while the thesis mainly focus on the multi-structure of music works, it goes to the further study of exploring the issues and theories that are related to the existence of music, and constructs a reasonable platform of theory on the base of absorbing and employing the well-developed theories. Along the path of study that the thesis concerned, the writer intergraded the individual emotion-experiences with the concrete and sensible sound materials, along with the intentionally comprehension by the subject, and eventually revealed the metaphysical essential of music works. It is exactly with the logic idea displayed above that the subject property of music aesthetics is strengthened and highlighted.As is mentioned above,with the focus of the multi-stratum structure of music works,the thesis distinguished four stratums of music works, which are essentially different but live on the existence of others.The four stratums forms a certain order according to the specific field they belonged, moreover, the characteristic made them a common paradigm. The four stratums are below:1.The Sound-Constructs Stratum of Music Works:when a certain kind of sound-constructs is strikingly advanced as the premier element of a specific fragment or piece of music, it therefore labels the integrity of the fragment or the music concerned, while the other elements only subsequently functioned.2.The Meaning-Units of Music Works:the single note is meaningless in the compositions, either is the single sound-constructs, only if the sound-constructs both vertically and horizontally combined until extend to the entire part of the work, then can they clearly generate a certain significance as a whole.3.The Representation-Objects Stratum of Music Works:this implies the representation of some certain issues to entire element on the base of the integration of sound-constructs under varies systems. The objection of representation related to certain objects as figures, world, universe, nature, and also included art works, certain concepts or status of emotion.4.The Intentional-Structure Stratum of Music Works:The multi-significance, uncertain and changeable characteristic features in the music works, along with the different intentional concern of the work continuously develop and extend the intentional structure, thus finally revealed the metaphysical essential of music works.An organic whole therefore formed by the four stratums which mentioned above, moreover, they organized as a definite chain that leads the music works as "sound-constructs→different combinations of sound-constructs→representation objects→intentional structure→metaphysical essential".According to the study to the each stratum mentioned, the thesis finally forms its conclusion as:The music work which is treated as a pure intentional-object possesses the ontologically construction with multiple stratums.
