Integration Research Between Pop Art And Chinese Mass Culture

In the 1960s,characteristics of the business community become gradually mature.In Western Art,the colorful Pop Art emerged at the same time,it is a far-reaching artistic trends. To the general public, the Pop Art's creative forms is willing to accept because it's demotic, low-consumptive, humorous, sensual, charming,and also with a low-cost but high-volume copy features. Pop art has a long-term impact on the development of art in contemporary society. Its significance lies in the way with the popularization to change the culture gap between elite culture and mass, finally bring art into popularity and has undergone a profound change on the relationship between art and the public. In modern times, Pop art has become a symbol of art and popular and also changed from a single art form into a broad culture.Along with economic growth and the arrival of the commodity economy, Chinese Pop Art has undergone a complex and multiplex development process. Economic system reforms have resulted in the transformation of cultural institutions, it inspired the creation of the artist and changed people's visual experience and survival mode.In this paper, from the two aspects, Pop Art and mass popular culture,analysing the process its evolution into a cultural phenomenon and the development of Pop Art in China.
