On Adjustment Of Cereals Planting Structure

In this article, the author firstly retrospects the theories of the comparative advantage in international trade and agricultural industrialization as the theoretical basis of the article. These theories direct people to adjust the planting structure according to the principal of maximum profits and provide clues as how to modernize the trade of cereal planting in the coastal provinces of China. Secondly, the author analyses the brunt that China will bear and the chances that China can grasp after being embraced into WTO as the macro- background of this article. The author then analyses the status-quo and the features of the cereals producing and consuming conditions of the coastal areas of China and points out the relevant problems between cereals production and consumption of this area. The author also discusses the domestic and international markets of the cereal production, analyzing the demands and th雫trend of cereal markets. This is of special importance because the adjustment of planting structure will take place under the guidance of market demands. Lastly, the author come up with four constructive suggestions as to adjust the cereal plaht7ihg structure in the coastal areas of China and modernize the trade of cereal planting structure as the conclusion of this article.
