It now becomes the core and soul of IT field after ten years efforts. Products of software include environment, financial, education, MIS and some part of database. The total value of 9.2 billion RMB has been earned for selling software by the end of 1996. 500000 people are engaged in this field. However, the software development in our country is still facing some problems such as small scale, insufficient investment and low resistance of risks. Financial software presents the different development results comparing with other software. It has strong competition in the market eg. 90% of the marketing in 1998. The master designing of the software has met the needs of the domestic clients.2. The main characteristics of the financial software and marketing analysis.1) Beneficial of the mobilization of relevant government agencies, including marketing entry and efficient monitoring of the marketing.2) Characteristics of the financial software by itself, On the basis of improving the financial system and stabilization of operational process, the financial software developed by many companies has the characteristics of common use, rigor and specialty.These characteristics lay a foundation for extension of the financial software and preventing pirated edition.3.
