Chinese government already resumed to exercise the sovereignty of Macau on 20th of Dec 1999, Macau became the second SAR (Special Administration Region) following HK. Macau SAR basic law confirms Macau owns it currency, as well as the financial and monetary policy. It is a worth topic to think it over how to adjust the current monetary and relevant policies to get along with the social development of Macau. More and more economists and officials provide Macau with valuable facilities after taking account of the financial policy used by HK HKMA, such as RTGS and discount window. Being analyzed the monetary policy of Macau; this article tried to give some suggestions to the authority of Macau.
