Fdi By Acquisition & Merger And Chinese State-owned Corporation Reforming

FDI by acquisition & merger has become an important investment form. China government has declared that she allows multinational companies to participate in reforming state-owned corporations and deveoping the West. In this thesis, we start with the FDJ theories in order to study the new round of FDI of multinational companies since the middle of 1 990s, FDI by acquisition & merger. From its characteristic, cause of formation and economic effect in developing countries, we have proved that FDI by acquisition & merger is an effective way for Chinese state-owned corporation reforming. And we have inquired into the opportunity and challenge for Chinese state- owned corporation reforming brought by attracting FDI by acquisition & merger. We also have inquired into how to utilize this form of FDI to promote Chinese state-owned corporation reforming.
