The Research Of The Developing Of Tomato Industry In Xinjiang

Following the "Black and white" strategy, Developing the red industry is another economic decision made by party committee and government of Xinjiang autonomous region to further improve the economy, especially the characteristic agricultural industry of Xinjiang and tomato industry. Xinjiang has more than 20 years history of planting processing tomato, the large scale of planting started in the year 1991 and experienced rise and down it is now step in a quick development stage again. Tacking the advantage of central government's decision to develop the west we are facing more opportunities .challenges and also difficulties. The article focused on the present situation of the tomato industry in Xinjiang to find its main problem and difficulty. Taking Xinjiang TunHe group as an example , the establishment of the material base, the setting up of the export enterprise group and the increasing government support are studied to provide some new ideas and methods for the development of the backbone of "red industry" -tomato industry.
