This paper mainly explicate the development of Chinese spinning and the potential in future. Through analysing the new changes . flinty challenge after we take part in VITO and comparing with the spinning level in the world, we must know how we develop ou spinning. This paper starts from the explanation of the new specialry and the development tendency all over the world, and after deeply demonstrating Chinese spinning 憇 development circumstance and explaining the WTO 憇 animus and principle, analysing the flinty situation of Chinese spinning, considering the condition of our country, the paper puts some exploratory measures and suggestions on the problems and drowbacks existing in our spinning at present. Euentually. this paper synthetially concludes the suggestions and measures mentioned in this paper. This paper consists of five chapters. Chapter one: the development of worldwild spinning. This sector~ divides into three parts: at first, the spinning has already restated his position in the world, she isn抰 the 揹usk industry? Spinning has already become ~the up?to?date industry. The secondth part is explication the tendency of the spinning development technology. The thirdth part briefly analyses the situation of worldwild competition. Chapter two: the situation and the problem of Chinese spinning This sector mainly includes six parts: first, the situation of Chinese spinning and its eight specialties and seven problems; Second, the coursing case of 1999~ 2000 and January?February in 2001. Third, whole status of Chinese spinning ?s competitive capacities, through three aspects: the scale of enterprise and product structure the level oftechnology and theinnovation of technology~managerial system andorganizational structure, this. part compares competitive capacity of Chinese spinning with world ?s average level and superlevel, aiid concludes the chat lenges are veiy flinty. Fourth, the presentations of spinning? s main industry, including clothing, cotton spinning etc. Fifth, the competitive capacities of Spiiiiiiiig enterprises Sixth, industrial orientation of spinning in the Tenth梖ive梱ear plan. Chapter three: the affect &o Cliiiiese spinning which comes from WTO. This chapter explicates WTO抯 aniiiius and principle, and analyses the collitents of MFA ard ATC. It unveils that chinese spinning will meet what challenges and new changes when we take part in WTO. The changes include: export quantity restrain will decrease; production export will grows capacity of gaining foreign money per ton fibra will also grow; it抯 benefit to spinning抯 reformation; it will 晅reat a better condition for attractiiig foreign capital.
