The Inquiry Of Freedom Essence

A philosophy history,is a history of human to inquire freedom constantly.Each philosopher has to make his/her own reply for it.Based on the study of the works of Kant and the study of the achieveˉment of studying Kant,the writer concludes that freedom problem is one of the inner critical problems of Kant's critique philosophy and that the freedom Kant was seeking for was carried out constantly in Kant's system from begining to end.Reviewing the background of Kant's philosophy,the writer discovers that one of important aims of Kant's philosophy was to rescue freedom which was burried by tradiˉtional rationalism for a long time.And then,reviewing the whole phiˉlosophy system of Kant,the writer also discovers that Kant inquired essence of freedom from two levels.Among them,Three Critiques confirmed the possibility and reality of ontological freedom.In a series of works of Kant's historical and political philosophy,Kant externalˉized the moral law of transcendental philosophy,which constituted a justice rule of law.In his works of political philosopy,Kant inquired how to sustain individual freedom in real society sufficiently.The espeˉcial contributions of Kant's freedom theory mainly show:On the one hand,he elevated the ontological freedom from the cognition of necesˉsity to the value world which is above the necessity,and he confirmed that the essence of freedom couldn't be resolved by the necessary knowledge;On the other hand,he founded solid moral basis for the justice of the individual freedom in real society,therefore,he made a special contribution for the development of liberalism theory.
