Interest is the fundamental force in the social ang productive activities . Interest conflicts exits inevitably due to the variety of interest subjects, different content, and restrictions of history. In order tohave interest conflicts exsit and function in a way of corresponding to human's aim, they ought to be adjusted, there are two odjusting methods:compulsory method, which depends on laws, police and the machimes of state;imbuing method, which is to adjust or depeen the understanding of one's own interest in order to activtate or weaken conflicts by extensive propaganda and education, tha work of idealogy and politics is one impormtant means of the latter.From the point above, the anther thinks interest conflict has an impormtant position in the work of ideology and politics,the interest essence of politics determines the basic task of the work of ideology1 and politics which is to weaken or strengthen the conflicts, in the process of the work of ideology and politics serving politics;adjustment of interest conflicts has a dominating position.
