Overall, not only domestic but also international, the existing rules of law about wreck removal mostly are general and fractional, some even are obsolete. This above-mentioned conditions are behind the practical development of wreck removal, and are difficult to solve many problems arising from practice. Furthermore, unactive academic research increase the condition of theory divorcing from practice to a certain extent. From angle of academic study, according to the relative rules of domestic and international law about wreck removal, the paper will analyses the problems that exist in practice of wreck removal, summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the existing rules of law about wreck removal, expound the views and purposes about some difficult problems, in order to establish the legal system of wreck removal suitable for the condition of our country.
