The Development Direction Of China's Trust Industry

China's trust industry has been in disorder for 20 years due to the lack of laws and regulations. But Administrative Measures on the Trust and Investment Corporations and Trust Law which were separately enacted in January and October 2001 indicate that the disordered development will be over. Because of the change, it becomes a very important research subject to find what measures should be taken to develop our country's trust industry in the new legal environment.Because trust industry in China is very young, there are still many problems and difficulties in its development after being reorganized several times. To solve these problems, we should not only take into account the actual situation of our country but also draw lessons from other country's experiences.Due to different history, economic position and development of money market, trust industry in different country have different features in which those of USA, U.K. and Japan are representive. After detailed introduction and thorough analysis of the trust industry in USA, U. K. and Japan, by combining abstract analysis with contrast analysis, historical analysis and logic analysis as well as case study analysis with theoretical analysis,the paper analyse the problems, circumstances and basic functions of our country's trust industry.
