Study Oon The Monopoly And Anti-monopoly Under The Market Economy Conditions

Monopoly is a fairly common economic phenomenon under the market economy conditions. Study on monopoly and anti-monopoly has important theoretic and actual significance to construct workable competitive market and perfect socialism market economy system. This thesis takes as the point of departure the history and comment of monopoly theories, analyzes the essence and types of monopoly, relationship between anti-monopoly and workable competition, the mould and thinking of anti-monopoly. The writer holds the essence of monopoly is the abuse of market controlling force and the aim of anti-monopoly is to construct a workable competitive market. Structure doctrine anti-monopoly mould bases on prevention, while behavior doctrine anti-monopoly points directly to the abuse of market controlling force. According to the stage characteristics of developing country economic development, we should take behavior as dominance and take structure doctrine as supplementary. The key to oppose natural monopoly is separating competitive parts and resolving perpendicular integration. Based on the monopoly feature of our country, the writer proposes fundamental thinking to oppose man-made monopoly and natural monopoly.
