OTC medicine is kind of medicine that can buy from drugstores without the doctor's prescription. Because people begin to pay more attention to their own health and pursue more convenient and economical health-care style,it is put into market. With the development of our society,the improvment of our living level and the increasing self-health-care ideas,people are greatly concerned with their health condition and hope to cure disease before it deteriorate. In the meanwhile,with the further reform of the medicine systemin our contry and the execution of the policy of basic medicare people will buy much more OTC medicine. Hence,the market of OTC medicine in China is very huge. More and more pharmaceutical corporations have put their resources into this market and want to have a high percentage in this market.Because medicine is the particular merchandies,which related to health,the customers pay attention to the brand of OTC medicine when they buy it. So Pharmaceutical Corporation shall take effective measure to set up the brand. We can set up the brand of OTC medicine in many ways. I think that the quality,the service,the advertising and other's sale ways are very important. We must apply them freely and distinguish the difference between medicine and other merchandise.
