The main aim of the study is to invent Adolescent Students' Responsibility Questionnaire.Based on open-ended questionnaire and overviews of former researches, this study forms Adolescent Students' Responsibility Questionnaire, testing the reliability and validity. Then investigate 1080 students in three middle schools and four universities in Chongqing city to find the features of development, sex and school, to test the validity deeper. The results of this study follow as:1. The self-made Adolescent Students' Responsibility Questionnaire has good reliability and validity. By the method of factor analysis, the responsibility can be divided into general responsibility (responsibility cognition, responsibility feeling, and responsibility behavior), personal responsibility (fault responsibility, self responsibility, and study responsibility), and social responsibility (collective responsibility, family responsibility, peer responsibility, moral responsibility, and social developmental responsibility).2. There is a sex difference in general responsibility and personal responsibility, the female students get higher scores than their counterpart in each dimension. In the social responsibility the sex difference exits in collective responsibility, family responsibility, peer responsibility, and moralresponsibility, social developmental responsibility has no sex difference.3.There exits a grade difference in responsibility behavior, the personal responsibility has the fall tendency in general; the social responsibility has the grade difference, the students of Junior 2, Senior 2,and sophomore get the lowest score on most of the dimensions .4.There exits a school difference ,the key school students get the higher score than those of the common school.5.The fault responsibility and self responsibility in personal responsibility and the collective responsibility, family responsibility, peer responsibility, social developmental responsibility in social responsibility have clear differences in the interactive function of school and grade.6.Through the analysis of the character of the adolescent students' responsibility, consistenting with some of the research, we can find the Questionnaire has good validity.
