Young armymen's mental health is the manifestation of their good mental quality, and it serves as an necessary component of their whole health. No matter regarding from the perspective of strengthening the human resource development of army and improving armymen's quality or armymen's self-development, stirring up enthusiasm, enhancing fighting capacity and improving life quality, safeguarding and improving armymen's mental health is a very important and urgent task in modern construction of Chinese army. So it is not only of important theoretical value but also specific actual strategic meaning to have the scientific research on modern young armymen's mental health condition and its educational intervention.This research is divided into three stages: (1)The first stage involves the present researching condition of young armymen's mental health and theoretical analysis of its educational intervention.(2)Stage two is contributed to investigation and analysis of young armymen's mental health condition at present. Through the investigation and analysis, we can get certain understand about young armymen's mental health condition and its changing feature, so we can select some young armymen with serious psychological problems to serve as objects of experiment about mental health educational intervention. Through the investigation and analysis, we can understand that among young armymen what are the prominent psychological problems and how serious they are, so that proofs are provided for continuous experiment about mental health educational intervention.(3)Stage threemainly discusses the experiment about young armymen's educational intervention. Importance is attached to this stage.The result of this research shows: (1)Through testing three hundred andfWty-two young armymen by Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire, young armymen who have psychological problems account for sixteen percent and young armymen's mental health condition in companies constructed is significantly worst in contrast with the new recruits and the new members who graduate in non-military universities and colleges. This result points out that it is of great urgency to conduct young armymen's mental health education and research in companies constructed. (2)Through the mental health educational intervention in the subject style (special topic introduction involved mental health, mental quality training and mental health activity education),in the way of penetrating mental health education(in connection with military training and political education and penetrating surroundings),in the form of psychological consult and assessment(teem consult and assessment, individual consult and assessment, special topic consult and assessment),the result show that after experiment the mental health condition of experimental group is significantly enhanced in contrast to control group and the mental health condition of experimental group after experiment is improved significantly in contrast to its condition before experiment, but after experiment the mental health condition of control group don't vary significantly compared with its condition before experiment.(3)The Integrate Model of mental health educational intervention adopted in this research can efficiently improve young armymen's mental health, so the Integrate Model is fairly possible as well as efficient.
