Analysis Of Banking Market Structure And Its Optimization In China

After score of year's market-oriental reform,the fundamental market structure of banking in China has taken form. Market structure reflects the extent of market competition and monopoly. It is a work of great practical importance to study the market structure of banking from the viewpoint of industrial economics. Based on the industrial organization theory,through the combination of logical and empirical methods,this paper analysis systematically the status quo of banking market structure in China,effect of market structure and the optimization of market structure in China. The object of this paper is to seek the solution to perfect banking market structure and increase banking competivity through studying banking structure in China.Through analysis,this paper comes into a conclusion:there's too much monopoly in banking structure in China,but ,because of the dual structure caused by the administrative monopoly and excess competition at low level,the market structure effect is small. The paper furthers the study and gets the solution that beginning with system reform and organization reform,we should set up the market structure with efficient competition,for which the effectual way is M&A of banks and withdrawal.
