Research On The Development Of RMB's Convertibility

RMB has been convertible under current account for quite a long time. The goal of our State Administration of Foreign Exchange is to make it convertible under capital account eventually. This essay raises some countermeasure and recommendation which is based on the conclusion of the developed countries'experiences and lessons,and the integration of our own real condition. The body is divided into six parts as follows:1. An introduction of some basic knowledge about currency convertibility which concludes currency convertibility under current account and capital account.2. An introduction of the development of RMB's convertibility before full convertibility.3. A recommendation on RMB's full convertibility .4. An introduction of the qualications about RMB's full convertibility.5. A research on the possibility of RMB's full convertibility.6. Some countermeasure and recommendation on RMB's full convertibility.
