Study On Structure Of BOT Project

Under the circumstance of the economical globalization,every country is searching for an effective and efficient way to develop its economy. Somewhat the economy development more and more depends on the construction of the public facilities. Normally,national fiscal expenditure played a significant role on it. But now days as the increase of the individual capital and scarce of fiscal capital,many countries tried to find their way to utilize the enterprise fund to construct the basic establishment by digging out their own creativity. Among all the forms the most typical one is BOX. The advantage of BOT lies in the fact that it systematically combines the government of the host country with the international enterprises with the basic establishment facilities. On the one hand,it provide the way for government to construct the basic establishment without risk;on the other hand,it supply a stable method for international enterprise to make their interest as much as possible.BOT is the initial of Build,Operate,Transfer,which is widely used in the construction of basic establishment such as Power Plant Project,Railway,Road,Port,and Water Supply Project etc. This thesis uses a combined research method of logistic analysis and application analysis. By introducing the character f BOT,it analyses the project of Shandong Rizhao Power Plant,Quanzhou Citong Bridge,and the English Channel Tunnel. It also discusses the applicable condition of BOT and supplies consequent suggestion.Significance:These days,government invest a lot to construct the basic establishment by using BOT,but few of them are successful. There is objective reason,but subjectively speaking,the misunderstanding of the cooperation of business,technique and communication also counts for the result. That is the reason why we should research and study more on BOT.Main Idea:Analyze the operating mechanism of BOT. Study BOT's structure of organization,fund and risk. Explain the applicable condition of BOT.In the portion of the structure of organization,the thesis studies the construction of the project corporation and the organization type;In the portion of structure of fund,it analyses different mode of investment,such as domestic investment,foreign investment,bank loan and government loan etc;In the portion of structure of risk,it deals with the formation,share and inter-relation of the risk of BOT project.Result:Through the analysis of the structure of BOT,this thesis reaches a point that BOT is applicable to China. The current barrier lies mainly in the immaturity of the market relation,which will surely be improved as the market system consolidates.BOT is applicable to the public facility project,public enterprise project,and transportation project etc.
