The third part logistics service (TPL) has been respected as one of the mainstay industry of world economy. And by the rapid development, the third party logistics has been special, efficient and unified. But the development of logistics industry isn't balanced. For example, in shipping industry TPL of container shipping is prosperous, jet it is hardly to hear something about TPL of dry bulk and it has just begin in foreign country. In the light of the laggard dry bulk logistics of our country and the broad development prospect, this thesis studies the problem of port based import iron ore logistics system in detail. In this thesis a mathematics model is built up to compute the least overall expense, for supporting the import ire ore logistics system. And the expense include port, shipping, cargo owner and other correlative sides.Firstly, the author analysis the character and process of import ire ore logistics. And then the author brings up the conception of iron ore supply chain, based on which he builds up the theory of OTIS (Order-Transportation-Inventory System) that is suitable for the reality of our country. He analysis every element of OTIS and the relation among them. By mixed integer schedule, the author builds up the mathematics theory model which aimed as the least expense. Taking real data of a certain port of China for example, he validates the model of OTIS. At last, he summarizes the whole thesis and brings up the problems to be solved.
