Product renewing strategy is one of the important strategies to a company, especially in high-technology industry, hi which the product renewing is very frequent. Using the related theories of technological innovation, marketing management and strategic management, analyzing mainly by qualitative methods and auxiliary by quantitative methods, this paper makes research on product renewing strategy.Through analyzing the characteristics of the product renewing, the results indicate that the characteristics are different between the product renewing and the ordinary investment strategy. On the basis, the ways by which the product renewing strategy be made: NPV, Real options. The results indicate that the two ways have some weaknesses.hi order overcome those weakness of NPV and real options, a optimizing NPV was studied through change traditional NPV's computing range; and take account into the manager's hobby.The optimizing NPV remedy the shortcomings of traditional NPV and won't destroy the company's system, the most important advantage is the conclusion made by this method is more reality.
