WTO And The Research On The Legal System Of The Supervision Of Foreign-funded Bangks

The appearance of GATS, Financial Services Agreement and other multilateral financial services agreements in the WTO contributes to the substantial development of the liberalization of the trade of the global financial services . The liberalization of financial services urges governments to lessen the requirements for a foreign_funded bank to enter and to give it the treatment as a member of nation within the range of agreements This closes not lead to the conclusion that the government should lessen its supervision upon the foreign_funded banks .On the contrary, the higher the standard of liberalization of financial services is, the more it will require of a conprehensive Legal system of the supervision of the foreign_funded banks. Efforts have been made in this paper to analyze our current Regulations on the Management of Foreign_funded Financial Institutions and to point out the existing problems of the Regulations in both the macroscopic and the microscopic perspectives. With reference to the experiences of supervision of the developped countries , many advices of revision have also been given.
