A Study Of Social Function Separation Conditions And Ways Of Large, Medium-sized State-owned Enterprises

Should large, medium-sized state-owned enterprises bear social functions is a question left over by the planned economy. This situation exists and relies on the planned economy system. With the gradual perfection of the China market-oriented econonmy system, the roots for enterprises undertaking social functions do not exist anymore. Further, the pressure of the real market purchases intensifies day by day, so en-terprises must release social functions to become more competitive in the market. From the practices conducted by enterprises all over the country, we can see that separation conditions and ways are the main key parts while performing social function separation.With this background, taking the social functions as a study subject, applying the-ories and methods of economics and management, the article probes into the origins, connotation concepts, self-characteristics and appraisal of the social functions of enter-prises from four aspects. Guided by methods of system analysis, the article makes an analysis of the roots of the production of social functions and its separation conditions. While analyzing, transaction cost theory, differential productivity theory, assets as-sessment theory and money-time value theory are adopted which makes the exposition more theoretical and applicable.In addition,in order to illustrate the separation conditions quantitatively, the au-thor constructs a social comparative model of functional cost to let the policy-making of the social function separation more rational.Then, on the basis of the first four sec-tions, the author makes a corresponding statement on the possible ways of social func-tion separation-ways of separation of asset transaction, internal market and holding separation, and gives a certain amendments to the appraisal of asset value involved. Fi-nally, the author summarizes the social function separation conditions and ways.Times as background, rdality as foundation, based on theories, with extensive, full and accurate theoretical information, by careful and precise demonstration, the au-thor gives a creative exploration on the question of the social function separation from enterprises, exposes the inherent inevitability of social function separation from enter-prises. The author also constructs a comparative model of social function separation from enterprises, expecting to make a contribution to the large, medium-sized state-owned enterprises by providing them a new train of thought to the study of theories on social function separation from enterprises.
