On The System Of Centralized Management Of Bad Assets Of State-owned Commercial Banks

The existence of a large quantity of bad assets of State-owned commercial banks and the poor management of such bad assets have seriously restricted the healthy and rapid development of the State-owned commercial banks which are therefore in a disadvantageous status no matter whether in domestic or international competition. This thesis aims at the reason why the bad assets of State-owned commercial banks are formed as well as the method and necessity of further improving the management, and predictively renders the new mode and new system on centralized management of the bad assets of State-owned commercial banks through analyzing the problems in traditional management mode under new situation, and in combination with the actual situation of the management of bad assets of State-owned commercial banks. Such new mode and new system can avoid the problems in traditional management mode, optimize the management and maximize the operational benefits through centralized management of all items of bad assets of State-owned commercial banks, thus provide a practical and feasible management mode for State-owned commercial banks to prevent financial risks, lower bad asset rates, and improve their competitive strength both home and abroad. Meanwhile, this thesis also analyzes the difficulties at present which State-owned commercial banks might meet with in implementing the system of centralized management of bad assets, and renders corresponding countermeasures in combination with the situation of State-owned commercial banks and of China.
